We are pleased to introduce Dr. José M. Alanis-Amezcua, who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our practice. His distinguished academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and a Physician & Surgeon degree from the National Autonomous University of Mexico.

Dr. Alanis-Amezcua has completed residencies at prestigious institutions such as the Lutheran General Hospital at the University of Chicago and the Metro Group Hospitals at the University of Illinois, as well as a Gynecologic Oncology fellowship at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and Cornell University.

With over two decades of experience in private OB/GYN practice in San Diego and La Jolla, California, and affiliations with renowned hospitals, he brings vast practical knowledge. Dr. Alanis-Amezcua is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetricians & Gynecologists and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists.

He has also contributed to advancing knowledge in obstetrics and gynecology through several publications, for which he is an author and co-author.
