Generally, if a couple has not conceived within one year of unprotected intercourse, it’s time to consider seeing a fertility specialist. Many infertile couples have more than one cause of infertility, so it's likely both, male and female partners need to see a doctor. If you see yourself in one of the following profiles, you are a candidate:
Infertility has no symptoms and both men and women can be affected by it. About 40 percent of the cases are caused by male factors, while a 40 percent can be attributed to female factors. A 10 percent is due to a combination of problems in both partners, the remaining 10 percent of the infertility cases are determined as unexplainable.
If an adequate and timely diagnosis is performed, fertility problems can be resolved in 90 percent of cases, which is why understanding the causes of infertility of every case is the first step to get an appropriate treatment. However, the vast majority of couples unable to conceive ignore them and waste time and money on incorrect or misguided treatments.
If you have undergone one or more In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF) cycles (attempts) but have not been able to have a baby, you are a candidate. We know how you feel. This is a time of great uncertainty and you must be asking yourself a million questions, including whether the fertility center that you chose offers you the best probability to bring a baby home.
Although they might provide treatments with similar names (IVF, ICSI, etc.), not all fertility clinics offer the same chance of success. Elements such as advanced treatment protocols, applied technology, patient follow-up, quality control, costs and financing may be totally different between clinics. Therefore, the end result is not the same.
Perhaps you have heard about someone who spent years in IVF treatments. It is even possible that it has been your case. At Ingenes we believe this is unacceptable and, unlike other fertility centers in which patients must submit to four or more IVF cycles (attempts) before achieving pregnancy, almost all the patients who get pregnant at our institute do so in one of the first three cycles.
Our mission is to fulfill your dream, and with that objective we created programs in which patients with fertility problems can have a baby, three times faster than in natural conditions, reaching up to a 96% cummulative success rate.
