WHO refers to primary infertility when a woman under 35 years old has had unprotected sex for at least 12 months without achieving pregnancy, or having spontaneous abortions.
A third of infertility cases is due to male factors, and another third to female. Other causes are due to a combination of conditions and only 10% is unexplained.
In men, there is no specific age for infertility while in women age is essential since it influences the quality and quantity of the eggs. - Kidney failure
- Kidney transplant
- Heart failure
