Types of vaginal infections and infertility

Medical research has shown that women with frequent, untreated vaginal infections are more likely to develop uterine infections, fallopian tube infections or Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID), which often leads to infertility.

It is important for women to know the symptoms of vaginal infections in order to treat them immediately and avoid complications.

Vaginal infections are divided into three basic types:

-Vaginal mycosis: caused by a fungus, usually Candida Albicans, which is why this disease is known as candidiasis.
-According to medical estimates, 75% of women will have at least one episode of this once in their lives.
-Vaginal trichomoniasis: the germ involved is a single-celled parasite that causes foul-smelling and irritating vaginal secretions.
-Bacterial vaginosis: in this case, a variety of microbes are involved in causing the disease.

Symptoms

-Vaginal discharge
-Pain when urinating
-Vaginal itching or irritation
-Pain during sexual intercourse
-Light bleeding or spotting
-Fever
-Shivers
-Pelvic pain

Treatment and how to have a baby

To treat these diseases there are numerous options, some of which can be purchased freely, however, it is always good to consult a specialist, as not all women react in the same way to medication and other elements in the patient's health must be taken into account.

Do not self-medicate and seek the help of doctors and specialists.
